Extracurricular, experiential, and creative activities are an important component of the school's teaching activities.

Students participate in real-world experiential programs, visiting historical sites, museums, scenic spots, and traditional craft villages. Throughout their 5 years of schooling, students at Doan Thi Diem - Hanoi will set foot in most of Hanoi's major landmarks such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Temple of Literature, History Museum, Army Museum, Ho Chi Minh Trail Museum, Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, Duong Lam Ancient Village, Bat Trang Ceramic Village, etc., thereby gaining a better understanding of Hanoi, Vietnam, and its people.

Camp programs, fun learning festivals, situational experiences, first-aid skills practice, gender and gender equality education, cooking, home organization skills, etc., help children build teamwork, and have basic knowledge and skills to live, survive, and handle real-life situations on their own.

During their 5 years at Doan Thi Diem Primary School - Hanoi, students also have the opportunity to explore and conduct scientific research at science centers, discovery academies, STEM centers, and career guidance centers. They participate in reading activities and implement projects, aiming to prepare their learning and research skills for the present and for subsequent academic levels.

With the motto 'School of Dreams and Compassion,' students participate in many community and charitable activities to train their spirit of sharing, empathy, and building their future dreams with love.

Students can showcase their talents, courage, and confidence through art performances, talent competitions, Vietnamese Tet Festival, Science Festival, Environment Festival, Sports Festival, exchanges with international volunteers, etc.
